The four types of palliative care offered in the Calgary zone are in a hospital, personal residence, hospice, or care centre. At Ohana Care, we provide palliative care in you or your loved ones' private residence or at a continuing care centre. If your loved one is currently in the hospital, Alberta Health Services will provide care in their palliative care Calgary unit.
Typically, palliative care is provided shortly after one is diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.
