Palliative Care In Calgary

When your loved one is in the process of letting go of life, it’s important they have someone present who shows care and compassion. It’s Ohana Care’s honour and privilege to provide you or your loved one with palliative care services.

What Is Palliative Care?

Palliative care, otherwise known as end-of-life care, is care provided to those who are struggling with serious illnesses or are ready to pass away from old age. As your loved one nears death, you may notice that they sleep longer, have less energy, eat less or withdraw from friends and family members. This is normal and necessary to the dying process. For more information about palliative end-of-life care, talk to your health care provider. We are here for you to listen and explain the care process.
